Creating Ancestral Voices was a labor of love for me and a test of my patience! Of all the pieces I have sculpted before, this one — by far — has the most detail and movement.
Ancestral was inspired by White Bull, a Minniconjou Sioux warrior who played a critical role in the defeat of Custer. He is listening on the wind for the voices of his forbears. Can you hear them, too?
